The White House stated that US President Donald Trump signed an executive order this week to extend the "sell or ban" deadline for TikTok from June 19 by another 90 days, foreign media reported. This marks the third time Trump has extended the deadline.

Trump does not wish for TikTok to disappear, and the administration hopes to facilitate the completion of a deal for ByteDance to divest TikTok's U.S. operations within the next three months, allowing Americans to continue using TikTok and ensuring their data security, the White House mentioned.
