Chinese condiment company HAITIAN FLAV (03288.HK)  +0.050 (+0.138%)   has closed its IPO subscription period as of noon today (16th).

According to data from various brokers, 18 brokers had lent a total margin of nearly HKD399.3 billion for the IPO as of around 11 am. Based on the public offering raising HKD573 million, the margin oversubscription has surged to 695.5 times.

IFR also quoted informed sources as saying that HAITIAN FLAV will price its shares at HKD36.3 each, which is the upper end of the range of HKD35-36.3. The company is scheduled to list on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange this Thursday (19th), with Morgan Stanley, CICC, and Goldman Sachs acting as joint sponsors.
