Chery Automobile, which had applied for listing in Hong Kong, inked a six-year cylindrical battery supply contract with LG Energy Solution, reported Yonhap News Agency.

LG Energy Solution will supply Chery Automobile with 46 large cylindrical batteries, with an order volume reaching 8 gigawatt-hours (GWh), sufficient to equip approximately 120,000 electric vehicles.

The contract amount has not been disclosed, but it is estimated to whop RMB5.25 billion, report said.
