AMD (AMD.US)      CEO Lisa Su predicted on Thursday that the AI-driven chip market will expand to US$500 billion by 2028.

She noted that the CAGR of the AI accelerator segment continues to excel 60% and predicted that the inference chip market will grow even faster.

She added that AMD has formed 25 partnerships over the past year to enhance its capabilities in this field, including collaboration with OpenAI.
