Chief Executive John Lee announced this morning (10th) that a new Policy Address will be delivered in September ahead of schedule, with public consultation to start from next Monday (16th), mainly due to the fact that the Legislative Council General Election will be held at the end of this year, and the sessions will end earlier, in the hope that communication and interaction between the administration and legislation can be strengthened, and that sufficient time can be allowed for listening to the views of the community.

Lee will attend 40 online and offline consultation sessions and 2 district forums with government officials.
