In the US, the DJIA shot up over 700 points, or 1.8%, at close overnight (27th), and the Nasdaq climbed 2.5%. For Hong Kong, the market opened higher, with the HSI up 3 points to 23,385, the HSCEI up 18 points, or 0.2%, to 8,488, and the HSTECH up 26 points, or 0.5%, to 5,209.

KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK)  +0.750 (+1.465%)    Short selling $135.95M; Ratio 16.855%   jumped up 6.5% to HK$51.9, on the 4% rise in 1Q non-IFRS net profit and the company’s confidence in double-digit online advertising revenue growth for 2Q. BABA-W (09988.HK)  +0.800 (+0.702%)    Short selling $1.11B; Ratio 24.262%   is reportedly weighing a stake reduction in ZTO EXPRESS-W (02057.HK)  -2.600 (-1.915%)    Short selling $80.93M; Ratio 41.042%   , with BABA-W opening 0.2% higher at HK$118.2 and ZTO EXPRESS-W dipping 1.1%.
