South Korean regulatory documents revealed that TENCENT (00700.HK)  +4.000 (+0.791%)    Short selling $644.70M; Ratio 15.002%   has acquired all SM Entertainment shares held by HYBE, the management company of the South Korean supergroup BTS, for KRW243.3 billion (around RMB1.277 billion), according to various foreign media reports.

HYBE announced that the sale involved a total of 2.212237 million SM Entertainment shares, representing 9.38% of the company's shares, with each share priced at KRW110,000, marking a 15.3% discount to yesterday's (27th) closing price.
