The Brazilian Labor Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against BYD COMPANY (01211.HK)  -1.400 (-0.344%)    Short selling $195.05M; Ratio 6.108%   and two other construction companies for violating labor rights.

Prosecutors accused BYD COMPANY of international human trafficking and conditions akin to slavery, demanding compensation of BRL257 million (US$45 million) for moral damages.
