In May 2025 (26 April to 25 May), the contracted sales of second-hand residential properties in Guangzhou were 9,228 units and 922,300 square meters in total, up 17.73% and 16.79% YoY respectively, according to the data released by Guangzhou Association of Real Estate Agents (GAREA).

In 5M25 (26 December 2024 to 25 May 2025), the total contracted sales of second-hand residential units in Guangzhou were 46,722 units and 4.6944 million square meters, up 17.82% and 18.46% YoY each.
