The expanded Terminal 2 (T2) at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) will commence operations in phases starting on 23 September. The first passenger facility to open at T2 is the indoor Coach Hall, with 41 parking spaces for tour buses, cross-boundary coaches and limousines, and resident coaches.

The ticketing counters and boarding points for cross-boundary coaches and limousines, currently at Terminal 1 and Car Park 4 respectively, and the tour bus boarding spaces in Car Park 1 will be relocated to the Coach Hall in T2.

The tour bus boarding spaces in Car Park 1 will be released for catering to the increasing usage demand at Car Park 1. These arrangements are expected to help ease traffic at Terminal 1 during peak times.
