DBS Group Research's report wrote that XPENG-W (09868.HK)  +0.200 (+0.265%)    Short selling $297.22M; Ratio 23.647%   (XPEV.US)      's 1Q25 results topped street consensus, with revenue swelling 142% YoY, gross margin hiking to 15.6%, and the non-GAAP net loss narrowing to RMB430 million.

Thanks to improvements in product mix and costs, the automotive margins for 2025 and 2026 were estimated to hit 12% and 14%, respectively, ahead of the 8.3% forecast for 2024, with estimated sales of approximately 400,000 and 538,000 units.
