The Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health (DH) announced today (23rd) that there are early signs indicating the rise in COVID-19 activity in Hong Kong is beginning to slow, though it is expected to remain at a relatively high level in the short term.

High-risk individuals, especially the elderly and those with chronic illnesses, are urged to stay alert and receive an additional free COVID-19 vaccine booster in a timely manner to reduce the risk of severe illness and death.
