Several major US banks are exploring the possibility of a joint stablecoin, the Wall Street Journal, citing sources, reported.

Banks involved in the discussions include companies jointly owned by JPMorgan (JPM.US)      , Bank of America (BAC.US)      , Citigroup (C.US)      , and Wells Fargo (WFC.US)      .
