Christopher Hui, Hong Kong's Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, wrote in his online column that the company re-domiciliation regime will officially be open for applications starting today (23rd), and he was pleased that some companies had indicated their active preparation for applying to move their registration to Hong Kong.

The Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, together with the Companies Registry and financial regulators, will provide appropriate support to assist companies in re-domiciling to Hong Kong, Hui stressed.
