Shenzhen has unveiled 10 key points of its e-commerce support policy in 2025, which mentioned that the city would intensify online trade-in campaigns for consumer goods, according to the "Shenzhen Commerce" public account.

Specifically, subsidies will be provided to individual consumers who purchase home appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners, computers, water heaters, household stoves, range hoods, dishwashers, water purifiers, microwave ovens, and rice cookers, or digital products such as handsets, tablets, and smartwatches or smart bands.
