Amid investors' concern that the new US tax law may exacerbate the country's budget deficit, the US Treasury note yield rates escalated on Wednesday, which hit levels that pressure the economy and financial markets. The 30-year Treasury yield surpassed the critical 5% level for the second time this week.

The two-year Treasury yield rose 3.9 bps to 4%. The 10-year bond yield hiked 0.6 bps to 4.54%, resuming to levels set during the tariff disputes under US President Donald Trump in April. The 30-year bond yield climbed 5.3 bps to 5.02%.
