In the first 18 days of May, China's new energy passenger vehicle (NEV-PV) market retailed 484,000 vehicles, marking an increase of 32% YoY or 15% MoM, according to data released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). Meanwhile, the new energy vehicle (NEV) market's retail penetration rate was 52%, with cumulative retail sales reaching 3.808 million units YTD, up 35% YoY.The number of NEVs wholesaled by PV manufacturers grew by 23% YoY to 467,000 units, though it remained flat in MoM terms.
