Citi wrote in its report that the biggest takeaway from ALI PICTURES (01060.HK)  +0.080 (+11.268%)    Short selling $55.62M; Ratio 6.975%   's FY2025 earnings call is the company's clear demonstration of disciplined film investment over the next 2-3 years. In FY2026, while maintaining overall staff stability, the company will proactively allocate human resources to Damai/ IP merchandising to achieve profit growth.

The report noted that Damai under Alibaba Pictures showed robust growth in FY2025, reminding investors of the resilience of the offline entertainment market (previously thought by many to have peaked) and the company's solid market dominance.
