Apple (AAPL.US)      is preparing to allow third-party developers to write software using its AI models in hopes of spurring the construction of new apps as well as increasing device appeal.

Apple is expected to announce the plan at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on 9 June, Bloomberg quoted insiders on Tuesday as saying.
