According to Citi's research report, TENCENT (00700.HK)  +3.000 (+0.580%)    Short selling $497.28M; Ratio 11.164%   has launched QBot, a new-generation AI-powered browser integrating the dual-model capabilities of "Hunyuan + DeepSeek", on top of its QQ Browser.

This AI browser not only further aggregates reliable data sources from official accounts and other PGC platforms but also combines internal and external strengths to meet a variety of user scenarios through AI-powered search, browsing, writing, learning, and office functions.

As of last month, QQ Browser had 433 million monthly active users and 97 million daily active users, which makes it easier to promote or shift users' browsing and search habits to become familiar with AI responses and usage.

With TENCENT's massive, solid user base and its social ecosystem, Citi estimated the company to become a powerful player in AI applications to further advance its AI features and products.

Citi kept a Buy rating on TENCENT, with a target price of HKD695.
