At the listing ceremony, CATL (03750.HK)  -7.600 (-2.253%)    Short selling $1.89B; Ratio 25.969%   Chairman Zeng Yuqun stated that the company’s Hong Kong listing marks a broader integration into international markets and a new starting point for advancing a zero-carbon economy.

CATL has largely completed its zero-carbon technology layout, the Chair said, envisioning that the global shift to renewable energy in industries will be the largest contributor to a zero-carbon economy.

Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan, speaking at the same occasion, noted that CATL’s listing has been the largest global IPO fundraising case so far this year.
