Liu Qiang, Secretary of the Jinan Municipal Party Committee, and Yu Haitian, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, recently met with Robin Li, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of BIDU-SW (09888.HK)  -0.900 (-1.025%)    Short selling $140.03M; Ratio 27.058%   (BIDU.US)      , and jointly witnessed the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement.

The parties will build an artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem to drive the development of related industries; establish an AI data annotation base to cultivate professional talent in data elements; create foundation model applications suitable for fields such as government affairs, healthcare, education, industry, and transportation, empowering the digital transformation of traditional industries; and explore cooperation in the field of autonomous driving, conducting validation of autonomous driving technology deployment.
