Cui Dongshu, Secretary General of the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), has released an analysis of the April new energy vehicle lithium battery market. In April, the power battery installation volume in China was 54.1 GWh, down 4.3% MoM but up 52.8% YoY.

Among them, ternary battery installation volume reached 9.3 GWh, accounting for 17.2% of the total installation volume, down 7.0% MoM or 6.3% YoY. Lithium iron phosphate battery installation volume hit 44.8 GWh, accounting for 82.8% of the total installation volume, down 3.8% MoM but up 75.9% YoY.
