AIR CHINA (00753.HK)  +0.070 (+1.408%)    Short selling $5.10M; Ratio 11.462%   announced that in April, its passenger capacity/ passenger traffic increased by 5.3%/ 8.6% YoY.

Of which, passenger capacity for domestic routes grew by 1.2%, while passenger traffic leaped by 6.5%. Passenger capacity for international routes surged by 17.2%, along with a 15.6% spike in passenger traffic. The passenger load factor was 81.3%, up by 2.5 ppts YoY.

During the month, cargo capacity advanced by 8.7% YoY, while cargo and mail traffic soared by 10.3%. The cargo load factor reached 38.7%, representing a growth of 0.6 ppts.
