Kang Bo, Head of the Integrated Innovation Department for Home Appliances and Home Furnishings at JD Retail, a division of JD-SW (09618.HK)  -3.600 (-2.659%)    Short selling $199.78M; Ratio 7.301%   , revealed that the group has accelerated the rollout of JD Mall across China over the past two years, and it is expected that the group will operate a total of 27 JD Malls by the end of this year, given more new stores currently under construction.

In May 2025, JD-SW opened JD Malls in Tianfu, Chengdu and at Daming Road, Nanjing, Kang said. During its trial operation in March 2025, Tianfu's JD Mall achieved sales of RMB150 million, and its cumulative sales have now exceeded RMB330 million.
