EAST BUY (01797.HK)  -0.180 (-1.513%)    Short selling $5.98M; Ratio 10.615%   's 1HFY2025 GMV amounted to RMB4.8 billion, within which Dong Yuhui's “Time with Yuhui” channel contributed a quarter of the total, Daiwa released a research report saying.

However, after Dong's departure, the broker noted that EAST BUY's GMV has bottomed out on the expansion of its sales channel.

On the basis of GMV recovery, Daiwa upgraded EAST BUY from Underperform to Outperform, and lifted its target price from $11 to $13.5. The broker also lowered its FY2025/ FY2-26 revenue forecasts by 11-18%, and reduced its EPS forecasts by 34-77%.
