TENCENT (00700.HK)  -7.500 (-1.455%)    Short selling $901.65M; Ratio 8.279%   's steadfast 1Q25 results with revenue from gaming and online advertising accelerating to over 20% demonstrated the group's capability to achieve sustainable earnings growth with its unique strengths, JPMorgan opined in its research report.

Even though TENCENT's increased capital expenditure in 2H had an impact on its earnings, the group's EPS growth rate still exceeded its turnover growth in 1Q, said the report. It is expected that TENCENT's stock price will react positively in the near term.
