China and the U.S. announced a sharp 90-day tariff reduction this week. U.S. President Donald Trump lately revealed that he may engage in direct communication with Chinese President Xi Jinping to nail the details of the U.S.-China trade agreement.

Trump described the current deal as "very strong", highlighting that the most exciting part is China’s commitment to open its market wider to U.S. companies. Previously, he had mentioned the possibility of a phone call with Xi this weekend.
