The US will slash the minimum tariff rate on small parcels from China to 30% according to a White House executive order and industry expert opinions, Reuters reported.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order to reduce tariffs on mailed goods valued up to USD800 from 120% to 54%. Meanwhile, the fixed fee of USD100 per package will remain, but the adjustment to increase it to USD200 next month has been canceled.
