CKH HOLDINGS (00001.HK)  +0.500 (+1.116%)    Short selling $63.86M; Ratio 20.857%   's port sale involves antitrust scrutiny and national security, Yun Zhao, Associate Dean at the Faculty of Law at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), was quoted as saying by Ta Kung Pao in an interview article today (12th).

The Chinese authorities can activate national security scrutiny if the deal is deemed to be a threat to critical infrastructures, the scholar commented, adding that the parties to the deal have to report to the market regulator and be subject to scrutiny, pursuant to the requirement of "concentration of operators" in China's "Antitrust Law".
