In an interview with CNN, US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said that he expects to see a 10% baseline import tariff in the future and doesn't think US consumers will have to pay for it.

The business world's job is to try to sell to US consumers, while there will be no tariffs on domestically produced products, which foreign products need to compete with, Lutnick added.
