In April, China's Producer Price Index (PPI) for industrial products fell by 0.4% MoM or 2.7% YoY, a drop slightly less than the market expectation of 2.8%, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics.

Meanwhile, the purchasing price index for industrial producers waned by 2.7% YoY or 0.6% MoM. For 1-4M25, both the PPI for industrial products and the purchasing price index for industrial producers decreased by 2.4% YoY on average.
