Baidu Apollo, the open platform for autonomous driving under BIDU-SW (09888.HK)  -2.050 (-2.316%)    Short selling $313.07M; Ratio 37.511%   (BIDU.US)      , announced a strategic partnership with China Auto Renting (CAR) to jointly launch the world's first self-driving car rental service, and will jointly promote the application of self-driving technology in a number of urban cultural tourism scenarios.

It is expected that the two companies will jointly define their products based on a specific scenario from 2Q25, and upgrade them according to the feedback from users, in the hope of providing a future traveling experience that is a deep fusion of technology and culture & tourism.
