Macau's GGR is expected to reach around MOP5.1 billion during the Mainland's "May Day Golden Week" holiday (May 1 to 5) this year, with an average daily GGR of about MOP1.02 billion, up 12% compared to the same period last year, beating expectations, according to a report from Citi.

Accordingly, Citi raised its GGR forecast for May from MOP20 billion to MOP21 billion, representing a 4% YoY increase and reaching around 81% of the level seen in May 2019. In other words, the average daily GGR is anticipated to hit MOP612 million for the remainder of May,
