He Lifeng, Vice Premier of the State Council, will visit Switzerland from 9 to 12 May, during which he will hold a meeting with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, according to the announcement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC (MoFA).

CNH's exchange rate rose as the market longed for trade contacts between China and the US. USD/ CNH fell through 7.2, and last descended to 7.1954.
