SWIRE PACIFIC A (00019.HK)  +1.400 (+2.128%)    Short selling $12.36M; Ratio 12.715%   and SWIRE PACIFIC B (00087.HK)  +0.080 (+0.762%)   have announced a proposal to spin off THAINAMTHIP CORPORATION PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED (TCPCL) for an independent listing on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).

Swire stated that TCPCL is currently its indirect non-wholly owned subsidiary. The TCPCL Group is principally engaged in the business of preparing, packaging, distributing and selling non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverages (NARTD) bearing trademarks owned by The Coca-Cola Company in 63 of 77 provinces in Thailand and in Laos.

Upon completion of the proposed spin-off, TCPCL is expected to remain a non-wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
