Annie Yau Tse, Chairman of the Hong Kong Retail Management Association (HKRMA), said on a radio program that Hong Kong's retail market saw a comparatively larger increase during this year's May Day holiday as the base was relatively low because of the poor weather condition during the same period last year.

If policies like the multi-entry visa scheme could be extended to more cities, Yau Tse emphasized that it would definitely drive more people to visit Hong Kong.
