WeChat has revealed statistics for the 2025 Labor Day holiday. During this period, the number of overseas transactions made by Chinese tourists using WeChat Pay increased by 37% YoY.

Thanks to visa-free policies and the rapid expansion of local WeChat Pay merchants, visits to WeChat Mini Programs in Malaysia surged by 200% YoY, while WeChat Pay transactions in Singapore rose by 38% YoY.
