After Apple (AAPL.US)      released its results, CEO Tim Cook revealed that the company plans to purchase more than 19 billion chips from the US this year as part of its global supply chain transformation, according to foreign media reports. This move aims to gradually reduce Apple's reliance on China and raise the proportion of iPhones produced in India.

Apple will rely more heavily on TSMC (TSM.US)      , and, in the face of tariff wars, the majority of iPhones destined for the US market will be produced in India in the future, so that production from China will be scaled back, Cook said.
