Sources revealed that the US has recently taken the initiative to reach out to China through various channels for negotiations on the tariff issues, according to a post on Chinese social media by Yuyuantantian, a media arm of China's CCTV.

The post mentioned that US President Donald Trump and his economic and trade team have been frequently releasing signals lately, claiming that the US is in economic and trade talks with China.
