Apple (AAPL.US)      logged better-than-expected 2FQ revenue, but Greater China sales were lackluster. During Thursday’s conference call, CEO Tim Cook stated that, assuming no new tariffs or major changes, tariffs are predicted to hike costs on Apple by USD900 million this fiscal quarter. He added that forecasting beyond June is challenging in wake of uncertainties around tariff changes.

Besides, Cook said Apple plans to procure 19 billion chips from U.S. factories. Bloomberg reported that Apple will source tens of millions of processors from TSMC (TSM.US)      ’s new Arizona factory this year for lower-end iPads and Apple Watches.
