CATHAY PAC AIR (00293.HK)  +0.190 (+2.074%)    Short selling $26.84M; Ratio 20.654%   announced that direct passenger flights between Hong Kong and Urumqi will commence today (28th), which will further expand the group's network in Mainland China.

The four-times-weekly flights between Hong Kong and Urumqi will be operated by the airline's Airbus A330-300 aircraft, providing customers with comfortable Business and Economy cabins.

The group expects the new route to connect the airline's customers from Hong Kong and beyond with an important Belt and Road hub in Northwestern China, solidifying Hong Kong's status as an international aviation hub.
