The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair 2025, held from April 18 to 20, spotlighted Macau as the "International Favourite Destination".

According to the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) , Macau welcomed over 181,000 Malaysian visitors in 2024, reflecting an 82% YoY increment.
