BOCI released a research report becoming slightly more optimistic about the real estate sector as March statistics show a stabilization in property prices.

Although the property trading volume continued to decline YoY, the inventory clearance cycle remained on a downward trend, suggesting that supply and demand conditions continue to improve.

On the other hand, BOCI believed that the de-stocking needs to be continued in order to provide sufficient support for home prices and ultimately realize the recovery of home prices.

Therefore, the broker believed that the government will continue to promote de-stocking policies, such as purchasing commercial properties to be used as affordable housing and monetary resettlement for urban village renovation.
