Hong Kong stocks opened lower this morning (31st) as markets across the Asia-Pacific region and U.S. stock futures headed south, in wake of heightened attention on potential U.S. tariff measures. The HSI slid 219 points, or 0.9%, to 23,207 at the opening bell. The HSCEI fell 77 points, or 0.9%, to 8,528. The HSTECH dropped 66 points, or 1.2%, to 5,439.
