YEAHKA (09923.HK)  +0.390 (+5.006%)    Short selling $886.00K; Ratio 13.129%   announced a 9% discount to the share placement. Today (7th), YEAHKA's share price opened 7.21% lower before its decline widened, and last plummeted 10.09% to $9.98, with 21.2568 million shares traded, involving $215 million.

The Company announced a top-up placing of 19.15 million shares at a price per share of $10.1, representing a discount of approx. 9% to yesterday (6th)'s closing price of $11.1 per share, raising net proceeds of approx. $189 million.

The Company intended to use approx. 40% of the net proceeds for the expansion of the Group's overseas presence across business segments in Asia; approx. 40% for investment in research and development, including use of AI in proprietary software, to strengthen the competitiveness of the Group's commercial digitalized ecosystem; and approx. 20% for working capital and general corporate purposes.
