The average rent per square foot for private residential properties in Hong Kong in September, calculated based on saleable area, was around $37.92, marking a monthly increase of about 0.1%, a rise for the seventh consecutive month, and a five-year high, according to Midland's rental trend chart.

In 9M24, rents have swelled nearly 5.9%, only around 1.1% below the historical peak.
