The US White House announced that President Joe Biden has tested positive for Covid after an event in Las Vegas. He will return to Delaware for self-imposed quarantine and will continue to perform all of his duties to the fullest extent possible in the meantime.

The White House added that Biden has previously received a booster vaccine shot and is only showing mild symptoms, including a runny nose, dry cough and general malaise, but no fever.
