HAIDILAO (06862.HK)  -0.060 (-0.431%)    Short selling $94.01M; Ratio 28.801%   now trades at $14.22, plummeting 5.8%, with a volume of 12.397 million shares and a turnover of about $179 million.

HAIDILAO announced that CEO Yang Lijuan has resigned and will join SUPER HI (09658.HK)  -0.840 (-5.198%)    Short selling $5.96M; Ratio 34.854%   , effective 1 July. In addition, Gou Yiqun has been appointed as Executive Director and CEO, also with effect from 1 July.

CLSA considered the CEO change a sign that HAIDILAO has almost exhausted ways to improve shop economics and will rely on franchising and new brands to deliver growth. Citi commented that the CEO change is a realignment of senior management resources within the company's ecosystem, and it still saw the company as the industry's top choice.

SUPER HI now trades at $12.88, surging 7.33%, with 1.9768 million shares traded, involving a capital of $24.9217 million.
