According to sources cited by Bloomberg, investors led by US investment firm Starwood Capital are considering a buyout of ESR (01821.HK)  0.000 (0.000%)    Short selling $4.85M; Ratio 8.047%   , and are discussing with minority shareholders to study their interest in accepting the privatisation offer. The formal announcement for such an offer would be made as soon as today (13 May). The source stressed that the discussions are still at a preliminary stage and no decision has been made yet.

Trading in the shares of ESR was suspended before the market opened this morning. A representative of ESR declined to comment on the report.
